I'm finally blogging. Yup had no time over the past one week plus to blog cos of all the PTs, and I'm unlike misuzu who finished her PTs much earlier than I did. :P

Anyway. So we got Christmas Scene as our SYF piece. It's easy on our section.. except for the mallets which also happens to be something we're rather weak in. Misuzu and I are considering taking over the mallet parts, but we'll see how. And one of you sec 2s might probably take the timpani part. Then again it's not confirmed. We'll settle the allocations by Tuesday hopefully (:

Yup please practise! Our gold with honours depends on everyone's hard work. Christmas Scene is a pretty song. Just that we have relatively little parts. But remember, that doesn't make us any less important. Heh i'm gonna sound super naggy if i continue. You get the point. Haha :D

Oh and to all of you. If you all see chenrui around in school, please remind her to come for band prac! Very important!

And lastly don't forget to work on your basics (crotchet quaver triplets semiquavers) at 152. Remember your target. By inunion you all should get it flawless (:

what doesnt kill us makes us stronger and i hope we've emerged from it a much stronger section than before. christmas scene/la boheme's perc score doesnt really have major parts that 'show-off' the section right? ): then even so, we'll still prac hard(: may we be the strongest section, yay!

SO, here are some random stuff.

1.Didnt have Band practice on thursday thanks to that percussion fussion thingo. Dont understand why people can keep on playing when everyone's not together. tsktsktsk. MB didnt even stop. Sadly, we look like retardeds on stage playing the same thing over and over again for half an hour (without any variations). Hillary and I were thinking if we should secretly add 'stinking garbage' in. or maybe 'thunder and lightening'. hoho.
Thankfully we had time for sectionals- despite it being in cryst's dirty smelly classroom -_-

3. our SYF piece... kinda boring (in my opinion). i stoned throughout. perhaps xian and i should play mallets instead. timpani score is apparently very empty. (according to xian).

4. i want more sec ones!!! currently we have only one dedicated sec one.

5. i wonder how it's gonna be like if ziyi stayed on...

6.oh! oh! WE FOUND THE MISSING GLOCK KEY! *grins*. (it was in the glock case all the while -_-)
